A BILL to amend article two, chapter twenty of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, by adding thereto a new section, designated section twenty- nine, relating to wildlife resources; and providing that military families are considered residents of West Virginia for the purpose of lifetime hunting and fishing license.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That article two, chapter twenty of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, be amended by adding thereto a new section, designated section twenty-nine, to read as follows:
ARTICLE 2. WILDLIFE RESOURCES.
§20-2-29. Military family resident license.

The Legislature declares that residents of West Virginia on active duty in the armed forces of the United States of America and their spouses and dependents are residents of West Virginia, and entitled to lifetime hunting and fishing license, even when stationed out of the state of West Virginia.



NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to declare that military families are residents of West Virginia and entitled to lifetime hunting and fishing license, even if stationed out of the state.

§20-2-29 is new; therefore, strike-throughs and underscoring have been omitted.
